HealthEquity is seeking a Communications Specialist , Customer Transitions to join the HealthEquity Marketing team. This teammate will be charged with developing quality communications and documenting our robust onboarding experiences to build trust and confidence in HealthEquity during times of customer transition .


T his role will capture servicing and operational insights across multiple teams , document experience changes that will impact our customers , and ensure our multi-channel , multi- audienc e engagement experiences meet the stated and even unstated needs of HealthEquity customers .


The ideal candidate will have an empathetic approach to change management , a keen ear for the voice of the customer , and a continuous learning and improvement mindset . The experiences developed will help drive customer acquisition, loyalty and retention while support ing brand reputation across several business and consumer audiences.


This role requires a strong ability to document complex changes simply, from multiple stakeholders , creating deliverables and artifacts that enable communication clarity. You’ll need a degree of technical acumen to be successful, but more importantly you’ll need to be focused on operational excellence, customer centricity , and able to process and communicate stakeholder input to ensure clarity and buy in . What you’ll be doing


  • Contribute to a robust testing protocol and continuous feedback loops to improve engagement and ensure audience understanding and sentiment
  • Receive, digest and document inputs that will lead to remarkable educational and engagement e xperience aimed at retaining and delighting HealthEquity clients , members and their partners through business transitions.
  • Participate in large , cross functional sessions , capture business requirements, and support leadership in determining effort, resourcing and reasonable Marketing response to suggested customer impact items
  • Provide quality and messaging controls and review across a broad range of multi-channel, multi-wave engagement materials from both internal and external creative studio support
  • Build process flows for key experiences using a combination of visual and written tools (i.e., Miro or Visio paired with PowerPoint slides )
  • Develop and optimize communications and messaging talking points across a broad range of multi- channel experiences to educate , nurture relationships and build loyalty throughout the change experience
What you will need to be successful


  • Experience documenting multi-channel engagement campaigns with robust testing
  • Experience documenting intentional end-to-end experiences that drive action, and developing communications that support customers through change
  • Strong collaboration & interview / discovery skills, ability to ask the right questions and tease out key messaging from complex conversations
  • Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous projects/deliverables to successful completion (i.e., high quality deliverables in a timely manner )
  • Proven ability to support either sales , operations, servicing , product or marketing teams
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, tenacious self-starter and team player
  • Strong analytical, creative thinking and research skills with ability to think and deliver tactically
  • Must have 2 + years of technical writing and/or engagement documentation and communication experience , ideally serving both B2B and B2C customer audiences
  • Excellent understanding of marketing functional disciplines with an innate ability to hear an intended experience and translate into actionable charters, briefs, documentation and project plans
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation, and spoken formats to a variety of audiences , including executives
  • Program and project management skills in a marketing context


This is a remote position.


Salary Range


$69000.00 To $103500.00 / year

The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
