Communications Project Manager

Rate: $50-$54/hr on a W2, 6 month contract, remote

Del Oro Consulting, a national consulting solutions provider with 20+ years’ experience delivering consulting services to global technology leaders in the US is seeking a strong Communications Project Manager to work with our client, a tech giant. This consultant will work remotely with the client's Customer Solutions Marketing Organization owning the workflow and process implementation against assigned projects, initiatives, and/or customers.

The Communications Project Manager will manage the project workflow supporting organizational communications by implementing and facilitating the overarching project process(es), helping various team members and units throughout the organization synergize in their collective efforts.

This position is designed to help the team and department operate in a more defined, predictable, efficient, and effective workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Direct multiple work projects and manage their alignment to business goals.
• Support the design, development, delivery, and management of strategic communications.
• Build and develop relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure a consistent approach that is embedded in the broader strategic vision of the Customer Solutions Marketing team.
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of executing to milestones and communications on multiple complex projects.
• Direct the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.
• Work to develop a change management methodology and process for team members through material development and education.

Required Skills:

• Proven ability to effectively project management with extreme attention to detail and ability to hit deadlines.
• Excellent communicator in written and verbal form with strong interpersonal skills.
• Highly driven and self-motivated individual with a “get it done” mentality.
• Experience with SharePoint preferred.
• Experience working within an enterprise workflow model.
• Demonstrated ability to work productively in a highly collaborative, diverse work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years in a marketing communications project management role.
• B2B Tech Experience
• Experience with SharePoint and Asana preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations or comparable field or equivalent years of education and/or work experience preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience or equivalent background in external communications (i.e., media, public relations, social media, events, etc.)
