B. Knox Photography is looking for a Marketing & Communications Coordinator who can jump into a successful organization and take its brand awareness and customer engagement to an even higher level.
We’ve built a great reputation in the marketplace by playing to our strengths and over=delivering for our customers, but rapid growth demands we bring in help.
We’re looking for somebody with positive energy and plenty of marketing ideas.
Compensation
Monthly retainer of $1000 per month.
Commission of 6% of revenue you book.

I think between 8-10 hours a week would allow this job to be executed well
Duration
Three-month contract position with the potential to extend further
Time and location requirements
Work from anywhere you like, whenever you like; just get the job done. We’ll be meeting weekly and chatting often. If you’re local to Greenville, SC, some of those meet-ups could be in person.
About this role:
As Marketing & Communications coordinator, you’ll expand on our existing business network using thinks like LinkedIn and a newsletter. You’ll show off the photography work we’ve done for valued clients, not only boosting their brand, but further establishing B. Knox Photography as a trusted service provider in the construction and commercial real estate realms.
Primary responsibilities and what we need to achieve:
- Maintain our HubSpot CRM, entering new prospects we want to pursue and follow-up tasks on stalled leads. We want a clean, accurate, and up-to-date CRM.
- Respond to inbound inquiries that come through website, email, and social media messages. Book exciting and profitable work; refer out less-than-ideal work.
- Show our current customers how much we appreciate their business. We want to boost their visibility, thank them often, and keep them updated on what we’ve been doing.
- After a photo project is complete, offboard customers in a way that makes them feel appreciated. The should feel like we gave them more in value than we took in payment
- After learning the project’s scope, email pricing and date options to the client They’ll know they’re in the hands of a capable professional. We’ll book profitable and fulfilling work.
- Use our photography assets to craft engaging posts about recent projects. We need 3-4 social media posts per week and a monthly email newsletter
- Manage Brian’s Google Calendar for bookings. You’ll follow simple scheduling guidelines as you look for dates that will work for Brian and the client.
- Walk potential customers through a discovery process to determine if they and their project are a good fit for us.
- Meet with Brian once a week to review progress, discuss upcoming opportunities, and chat about your ideas

- Build out our company’s stock image gallery.
- Create more visibility for Brian’s business courses and mentorship program. Find folks who fit the avatar and engage with them on social media.
- Build brand visibility by setting up podcast appearances.
