As a Marketing Specialist II, you will be a crucial part of the Health Benefits Account business-to-consumer marketing team, working within a B2B2C framework. Your responsibilities will center around operational, product, and service-oriented communications efforts and programs, with a focus on delivering impactful marketing initiatives. You will play a key role in incident response, change management plans (including platform migrations), and providing support for transactional marketing needs.
In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with various departments, including call center, operations, product, technology, account management, and legal & compliance, to execute high-visibility marketing programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Communications Strategies:
- •Utilize your experience as a communications strategist with technical writing expertise to create effective and comprehensive communication plans.
- •Craft end-to-end communications that incorporate the right mix of touchpoints and channels to educate and inform both internal and external audiences.
Project Management:
- •Oversee the progress of marketing initiatives, coordinating efforts with different teams to achieve objectives.
- •Support and manage projects of varying scales, from tactical to strategic, ensuring timely and successful execution.
Multi-Channel Writing and Editing:
- •Demonstrate strong writing and editing skills, adept at crafting compelling content for various marketing channels and mediums.
- •Tailor content to resonate with different target audiences and align with the brand messaging.
Content Development:
- •Ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with the company's values and tone.
- •Develop high-quality content, including but not limited to blog posts, articles, email campaigns, social media posts, and website content.
Change Management and Incident Response:
- •If you have experience in change management and incident response, utilize this knowledge to effectively handle unexpected events and ensure seamless transitions during platform migrations.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Partnerships:
- •Work closely with various teams, including call center, operations, product, technology, account management, legal, and compliance, to foster collaboration and execute marketing programs.
Key Attributes and Desired Skillsets:
- Comfortable in managing and supporting projects across different scopes and levels of complexity.
- Possess 5+ years of experience in communications and/or marketing, demonstrating a strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
- Familiarity with change management and incident response practices is a plus, providing you with an added advantage in handling unforeseen circumstances.
- Possess excellent collaboration skills, being able to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate creativity in developing engaging and innovative content that resonates with the target audience.
- Showcase proficiency in multi-channel marketing, with the ability to tailor messages for different platforms and audiences.
- Exhibit expertise in technical writing, enabling you to create clear and concise communications that effectively convey complex information.
Details
- Pay- $32-$37/hr
- Contract role slated to last through February or 2024 with the high potential to extend
- Location- Remote/WFH role focused in Central Time
