As a Sr. Legal Administrative Assistant with Stewart Law Group, you will be an integral part of our success. The Sr. Legal Administrative performs secretarial and administrative duties in support of the managing partner and firm leadership.
Your duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create, format, revise and edit legal documents as needed.
- Respond to and provide information to clients.
- Input and track timekeepers' hours as needed.
- Log and distribute incoming mail, including regular and electronic mail.
- Record and monitor deadlines for managing attorneys.
- Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings and conferences.
- Collect and retrieve information from files as needed.
- Answer telephones and greet clients.
- Provide administrative support, including filing, copying, scanning, and faxing.
- Transcribe dictation as needed.
- Calendar management using Outlook and complex meeting planning. Plan and schedule appointments, conferences, meetings, and travel arrangements for the leadership team.
- Process and distribute documents effectively.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Zoom.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, always-changing environment.
- Ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
Education
- Associate degree in business administration preferred or equivalent work experience.
Experience
- NetDocs (preferred).
- Minimum of five years as an executive administrative assistant in a law firm or professional services firm.
- Minimum of three years of experience with Microsoft Office 365 (required).
- Coyote Analytics (preferred).
Compensation and Benefits
