Job Description
State Street is seeking 2L candidates to join a busy corporate legal team. The role will primarily support M&A and minority investment activity, procurement legal and corporate governance.
As an intern, you will participate on internal and external calls related to various projects, provide support to junior and senior attorneys, and prepare and review various transaction related documents (including NDAs, term sheets, purchase agreements, letters of intent, shareholder agreements (including NVCA style documents).
These skills will help you succeed in this role:
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collegially with internal clients, outside counsel, and other members of the legal team;
  • Strong organizational skills and independent follow through on issues and tasks; and
  • Capable of producing high quality routine work with general supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and multiple priorities efficiently and with a high caliber of execution
Salary Range:
$15,600 - $58,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
