About Starting Small Media:

Starting Small Media was launched in January 2020 with a vision to share transparent startup stories that inspire and provide guidance for aspiring entrepreneurs. Since then, we have achieved significant growth and have established partnerships with recognizable brands. Our annual Starting Small Summit has become a highlight event, featuring founders from renowned companies like Reebok, Stacy's Pita Chips, Kodiak Cakes, and many more.

Responsibilities:

• Support the coordination of meetings, conferences, and events.
• Contact and assist in facilitating potential guest speakers
• Participate in organizing office supplies and ensuring inventory levels are maintained.
• Provide general administrative support to various departments as required.
• Aid in managing incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and phone calls.
• Collaborate with team members on special projects and assignments.
• Help with data entry, data analysis, and generating reports as needed.
• Assist in maintaining and organizing files.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as in a collaborative team setting.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their best practices.
• Passion for entrepreneurship, startups, and storytelling.
• Proficiency in crafting compelling copy for different mediums and platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
