Sourcing Manager (Oem/Rfq Specialist) - Solar

We are looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager with expertise in running OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) RFQs (Request for Quotation) within the solar industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire RFQ process, ensuring compliance with anti-dumping solar laws in the USA, and driving the sourcing strategy for the company. As a self-starter, you will play a critical role in identifying potential OEM suppliers, negotiating contracts, and establishing strong partnerships to support our growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute RFQ strategies in compliance with anti-dumping solar laws in the USA.

Identify and evaluate potential OEM suppliers based on quality, cost, capacity, and adherence to legal requirements.

Gather and analyze supplier quotations, technical specifications, and commercial terms.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define RFQ requirements, project timelines, and cost targets.

Conduct negotiations with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, favorable terms, and contractual agreements.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including anti-dumping duties and tariffs.

Manage relationships with OEM suppliers, including performance evaluations and ongoing communication.

Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies related to the solar industry.

Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in RFQ management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Sourcing Manager or similar role, with a focus on running OEM RFQs within the solar industry.

Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, RFQ processes, and supplier selection methodologies.

Familiarity with anti-dumping solar laws in the USA and their implications on sourcing decisions.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.

Solid understanding of technical specifications, quality requirements, and manufacturing processes within the solar industry.

Proficiency in using RFQ tools, supplier databases, and supply chain management systems.

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

Self-starter mentality with a proactive approach to work.
