Job Description

Position: Management and Program Analyst, GS-0343-13

Division: Directorate of Intelligence

Unit: National Virtual Translation Center

Location: Washington, DC

Working Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Salary: GS- $112,015.00-$145,617.00

Full Performance level: GS- 13

Number of Positions Available: 1

Duration: Full Time/Permanent

Additional selections may be made from this announcement to fill positions within the same division when the position includes substantially the same duties, responsibilities, and qualifications.

Key Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret-SCI clearance
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Some travel may be required

Mission Statement:

The mission of the FBI is to protect the American People and uphold the Constitution of the United States.

Major Duties:

  • Demonstrated ability to critically analyze existing requirements and to effectively forecast potential future needs based on available data and trends.
  • Participate in Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) working groups, dedicated to addressing language issues, improving inter-agency collaboration, and responding to crisis situations
  • Collaborate across the various NVTC teams and support or lead process-improvement projects geared toward improving Center efficiency.
  • Conduct broad marketing and outreach efforts by engaging with the various IC components.
  • Actively monitor customer language requirements and balance funding allocations.
  • Maintain liaison with IC agencies, as well as with academia and professional associations, promoting program interests.

Specialized Experience (SE):

GS-13: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level. SE is defined as follows:

  • Experience in developing and providing management with recommendations in order to meet program goals and objectives
  • Experience researching, investigating, and evaluating new or improved business and management practices for application to agency programs or operations
