Job Description

Ripple Effect is looking for a Senior Project Coordinator with four years of experience to support the Office of Research Facilities (ORF) division, at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This person will provide project management support across teams, including preparing, coordinating, organizing, and implementing programmatic resources, information, and activities.

  • Salary Range: $67,392.00 - $77, 500.00 per year (how we pay and promote)


Responsibilities:


  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Oversee and independently execute data collection, data entry, quality control, analysis, synthesis and reporting activities in support of the program.
  • Ensures deliverables and projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget and are technically sound and accurate.
  • Contributes to proposal writing and technical solutioning for relevant projects. 
  • Define and implement meetings cadence including agenda topics, participant list, pre- and post-work to accomplish program objectives.
  • Drafts and edits SOPs to standardize and document processes.
  • Coordinates internal resources to execute programs and projects.
  • Provides agendas and documents action plans for meetings.
  • Contribute to new processes and procedures to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
  • Provides document management support including coordinating changes from multiple stakeholders, reformatting documents to follow guidelines, ensuring 508 compliance, and exporting content into multiple formats.
  • Creates and develops reports and presentations for briefings/meetings. Types general correspondences and create charts, tables, graphs, SharePoint lists, etc.
  • Independently lead and conduct formal and informal research activities and synthesis of programmatic information.
  • Brief senior program leaders on approaches and responses to feedback and questions.


Requirements


Minimum Education and Experience


  • 4 years experience (including 2 years of project coordination experience)
  • Bachelor's degree


Basic Requirements


  • Ability to learn and navigate web-based systems such as SharePoint, Teams, and other electronic business systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
  • Knowledge of Power Platform, and Power BI to manage various data sets.
  • Ability to prioritize among multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for face-to-face interactions with clients, co-workers, senior leaders, and stakeholders.

Skills That Set You Apart


  • Intermediate SharePoint and/or Power Platform skills
  • Familiarity with project planning tools
  • Experience summarizing and organizing reports using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience supporting project activities across multiple teams
  • Experience with contracting in the federal government
