What You Will Do

Supporting CPD Distribution and COE Network Operations, will be a key support for strategic projects within the CPD network including end-to-end business cases. Will also serve as a liaison to existing distribution teams in supporting their development in SAP/ODES and data visibility. The ideal candidate has strong analytical, critical thinking, and creative capabilities, the desire and ability to excel and is comfortable working in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment.

Operational Responsibilities

• Develop business cases and continuity plans where needed
• Responsible for the effectiveness of all data analysis
• Provide day-to-day support to leadership and management for portfolio of projects.
• Lead and participate on cross functional projects supporting improvements to the overall performance of the company
• Collaborate with other managers and staff members to formulate and implement goals and objectives
• Establish and monitor quality standards for the effective management of future business cases and data management.
• The continuous identification implementation of operational best practice through interaction with the wider team
• Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the condition of projects
• Be able to be called upon for test scripts for SAP where applicable.

Analytics and Reporting

• Leverage SAP data and analytics to develop business case and continuity plans that drive performance and cost improvement including but not limited to customer order detail, picking productivities and customer order flow pattern changes.
• Data collection, validation, and analysis with relevant stakeholders
• Build and optimize slotting methodology, using the group’s tools, Optislot for the project portfolio
• Leverage Groups use of PowerBI to visually explain flow of data

What We Are Looking For

• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
• Familiarity with Manufacturing flow
• Proficient in SAP data and end to end flow.
• Exhibits initiative and willingness to learn, adapt, create, and teach new processes or work content
• Solid business acumen with P&L or budget responsibility
• Ability to be a team player and customer service driven
• Knowledge of ODES/Manhattan WMS
• Proven knowledge of transportation, distribution and broader supply chain concepts.

Work Experience &/or Education

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain/Logistics or Economics preferred. 4-year degree required. Prior experience in Distribution required. Minimum of 5 years operations experience required.
