The Opportunity
Michelin Connected Fleet, a Services and Solutions subsidiary of Michelin, is looking for a driven Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis. At MCF NA, we believe that the Finance is an offensive, not defensive function that supports effective organizational execution both internally and in-market. To that end, the right candidate for this role is operationally oriented, and customer focused. The Senior Manager of FP&A will report directly to the VP of Finance at Michelin Connected Fleet North America.
What You’ll Do
- Plan For Our Future: Develop financial models and analyses to support MCF’s most critical strategic initiatives and investments.
- Help Us Win: Break economic objectives down into their underlying drivers so that operational teams have clear guidance on what to work on first.
- Own & Interpret The Data: Serve as the “source of truth” for our commercial and operational data with relentless desire for clarity and accuracy.
- Enable Effective Steering: Support the MCF NA Leadership Team with the metrics to enable effective business steering. You will own the accuracy and reliability of our P&L & core KPIs.
- Manage The Systems Transition: As we transition our underlying systems infrastructure, limit business interruption and find opportunities to make future processes more scalable.
- Build Scalable Financial Processes: Build effective financial processes that surface accurate information consistently and with less effort every time.
- Be A Trusted Partner: Lead up, down, and across the organization by surfacing the right information and collaborating to execute of the right plan of action.
- See The Field: Uncover and highlight areas for improvement dictated by the data. Support effective cross-functional solutioning and execution.
- Communicate Our Results: Effectively present our results company wide and to our NA and Global Leadership Teams.
- Fail Forward / Be “In The Arena”: Focus on progress over perfection and accelerate our transition towards a test & learn culture.

The Ideal Candidate
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to work independently and as an integral member of various teams; also lead direct and indirect networks as business partner.
- Humility & Inclusion: Willingness to put the team in front of yourself. Value diversity and inclusion as a positive driver of a company’s success.
- Analytical Rigor: Strong orientation towards decisions rooted in data. Ability to easily see and plug data gaps and inconsistencies. Prior experience in Excel, SQL, Tableau.
- Educational Credentials: Accounting/Finance or other technical degree Preferred.
- Relevant Experience: 3-5 years of progressive finance experience required. Prior experience in investment banking or management consulting strongly preferred.
- Structured & Logical Problem Solving: Ability to break complex problems into simple parts. Ability to juggle and effectively prioritize multiple workstreams.
- Effective Communication: Ability to translate complex financial concepts into simple language. Team player who thrives in a highly collaborative work environment.
- “Get It Done” Mindset: Possess entrepreneurial thinking and strong results orientation. Willing and able to “roll up sleeves” when required.
