Job Description

Are you passionate about the world of magazines and project management? An Atlanta-based School of Business is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join the team as a Project Manager. This is a seasonal position around 20-Hrs a week, fully remote from June through the upcoming magazine release in October.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with freelancers and internal stakeholders to facilitate the production of high-quality articles and reports.
  • Coordinate and arrange photoshoots, including booking locations and overseeing prop set up.
  • Compile and maintain a comprehensive to-do list, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Manage project timelines and workflows, working closely with a team of freelancers to ensure assignments are running smoothly.
  • Assist the magazine lead, as the right-hand person in coordinating and managing magazine meetings.
  • Utilize project management tools, such as Trello, to track and update project progress, including freelancer assignments.
  • Edit articles, ensuring word count adherence and providing feedback on content.


Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being a collaborative team player.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of the magazine production process.
  • Flexibility to work remotely with occasional in-person meetings on Wednesdays.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in the higher education context.
  • Previous experience working with magazines and annual reports is highly desired.
  • Proficient in using project management tools, such as Trello.
