Job Description
Think Company is looking for Project Managers to join our team on a contract to hire, six month project/engagement with likelihood of continuance.

This position requires an average of one onsite day per week in Skillman, NJ.

The Role

We are looking for Project Managers to assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of workshops and training designed to radically change the way products & services get created for our clients. It is a position of high visibility and influence that needs to connect with a wide range of stakeholders. This role will be responsible for project support and execution.

Your facilitation & agile techniques will guide our customers through both divergent and convergent thinking on the potential opportunities and solutions which bridge the gap of unmet needs and maximize value. For both digital solutions and business strategies, we utilize a workshop format that helps our clients identify the customer's unmet need, define the value proposition, and create an action plan to achieve the value proposition. For digital solutions, we go a few steps further by identifying an outcome (not feature) driven Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and designing experiments to validate the value proposition.

You are expected to be a tactical and strategic contributor, producing work of the highest standard. You should also be a passionate advocate for quality, possessing outstanding project management and consulting skills, and have a solid understanding of contemporary tools and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities of a Think Company Project Manager:

  • Deeply understanding the client's needs and long term goals
  • Create and maintain project schedules taking into account changing priorities, milestones, and resource constraints
  • Enforce process, but provide a flexible environment to adapt to inevitable changes
  • Monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee potential problems and proactively identify solutions
  • Assist in leading workshops and exercise, virtually and in person, which can include global attendees
  • Write clear and detailed project documentation such as project summaries, change orders, and project plans
  • Manage project financials and be accountable for deliverables to be on budget, on time, and within the agreed-upon scope
  • Preparing meaningful workshop agendas, attuned to the client's specific needs
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, setting expectations, and carefully tracking and reporting on budget, timeline, and deliverables
  • Familiarity with user research is a plus
  • Manage complex digital projects with multi-disciplinary teams

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

  • Excellent presentation and consulting skills
  • 3+ years of experience practicing digital project management
  • Ability to function effectively and communicate with cross-functional teams with shared resources
  • The ideal candidate is Scrum Certified, with practical Agile experience, and has a clear understanding of the Agile framework
  • At least 2 years in a client-facing project management role at a digital agency or consultancy
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills in order to juggle competing priorities for yourself and your teams
  • Familiarity with Google Design Sprints or Lean Startup
