Job Description

Russ Kelly & Associates is searching for a highly-driven, self-motivated individual to join our team as an Estimator/Project Manager. RKA is a union commercial general contractor based in Mount Ephraim, New Jersey, conducting operations in the greater Philadelphia area including the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), King of Prussia Mall, and the City of Philadelphia.


Responsibilities

  • Manage resources such as construction materials, construction workers and equipment.
  • Create status reports for project stakeholders.
  • Maintain health and safety standards.
  • Negotiate with clients and subcontractors to obtain profitable construction contracts.
  • Create and manage construction project budgets.
  • Allocate and manage resource logistics.
  • Create a construction estimates based on plans and specifications.
  • Seek out new projects and opportunities.
  • Develop construction schedules, with project deliverables and milestones.
  • Oversee the performance of the site superintendent and other members of the construction team.
  • Obtain building permits, licenses and meet code regulations.
  • Create construction project management plans.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, General Project Management, or another related field with 2+ years of experience in Construction Estimation/Project Management within a Commercial General Contracting Company will be considered.
  • MUST HAVE 4+ years of experience in Construction Estimation/Project Management within a Commercial General Contracting Company.


Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat.
  • Project management skills such as time management, project budgeting, resource management and project scheduling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong team management and leadership skills.
  • Experience with ProCore is preferred.
