Job Description
Manages multifunctional Operations teams, with a focus on production and the creation/delivery of services to internal and external clients. Ensures department goals are in alignment with company strategies. This position is available in various functions: Customer Call Center, Claims Processing & Financial Transactions. Hiring managers are: Barrett Gates, Brittney Janovich & Susan Harris
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as an escalation point for teams to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Design, implement and manage operational workflows to meet internal and external service level agreements.
  • May compile revenue variance explanations, roots causes and correction action plans in preparation for monthly review meetings.
  • Provide training, coaching and mentoring to staff and provide development opportunities.
  • Manage staff administration and maintain staffing levels to meet production goals and budget.
  • Prepare and deliver on-going management reports to a variety of audiences.
  • Direct daily operations and associated activities.
  • Participate as a member of the Operations management team.
Qualifications:
  • Five years of management experience.
  • Ability to grasp technical and complex concepts, and convey to staff and internal/external customers.
  • Problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient using MS Office products.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities under pressure.
  • Eight years of experience in an operations environment, preferably in the insurance/financial services industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong preference for prior Transamerica experience and/or knowledge of Transamerica Operations
Working Conditions:
  • Your working location designation is Remote. Remote means that you will not be expected to work from a Company office location on a routine basis. When not working in a Company office location, you will be expected to work from your home or other approved workspace in the U.S.
  • Occasional travel.
  • Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to applicable pay transparency and compensation posting laws. It is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.** 
The salary for this position generally ranges between $ 85,000 - $113,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.  
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company discretion.
