Manager, Exhibits & Event Operations
The primary function of this role is to contribute to the success of our clients’ trade show experience. Extensive knowledge of exhibit management & logistics is required. The successful candidate will be well organized and able to demonstrate the ability to multitask, working on several different accounts simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
·Manage the trade show progression from setting up interactive floorplans, booth assignments, pre-show logistics to on-site management and post-show follow up.
- Serve as a Primary Contact and Project Manager for assigned accounts.This position will be responsible for pushing out all show update emails, setting up client and internal calls, taking notes and post call follow up on action items.
- Create and maintain an internal annual trade show/events timeline
- Develop financially beneficial floor plans in line with the client's budget, trends, historical knowledge, and exhibiting companies' needs and feedback.
·Initiate A2Z Set up Requirements & create and/or update exhibitor HUB for assigned accounts.
·Review & approve island schematics, collect COI and EAC forms.
·Review and track exhibitor registration data.
·Develop and implement/update exhibit rules & regulations to comply with industry, facility, & state standards.
- Work closely with subcontractors i.e., general service contractor, housing, registration partners.
·Develop/maintain a priority point system for booth assignments.
·Create strong relationships with key clients & exhibitors.
·Work collaboratively with the other internal teams & foster a culture of continuous process improvement.
·Understand and strive to always provide the best customer service to our clients.
- Attend all site visits, as necessary, including one the year prior, and one the year of the meeting.
·Participate in the on-site booth sales and assignments process.
·Produce and execute pre and post exhibitor event communications; Know Before You Go, Exhibitor Survey, etc.
·Produce and execute pre and post exhibitor reports due to the client and exhibitors pertaining to logistics.
Requirements:
- Experience with Smartsheet and A2Z a bonus!
- Familiar with Virtual and/or Hybrid meetings.
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite, & Teams. Familiar with SalesForce & Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams.
·Ability to handle multiple projects with attention to detail.
·Excellent organizational skills with strong degree of self-direction and motivation.
·Creative thinker with strategic mindset and ability to generate new ideas, troubleshoot issues and solve problems.
·Desire for continuous improvement and learning.
·Ability to travel domestically 25+% of the time.
·This is a remote position, ability to work independently in a dedicated home office area.
·Maintain a professional appearance and demeaner when representing A. Fassano & Company.
