We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced business development consultants to join our accounts team. As a Consultant in this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth for our clients through the development and implementation of effective lead generation and appointment setting strategies within the life science industry. This is a contract-based position, working remotely with clients across the US and Europe as need arises (candidates based in both US and EU are welcome to apply)
Responsibilities:
- Leverage your experience and knowledge of tools like Apollo.io and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to enhance lead generation efforts and facilitate appointment setting.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of potential leads and competitors to develop a comprehensive understanding of the industry landscape.
- Continuously monitor and analyze email performance metrics to measure success, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Craft compelling, personalized email copy and value propositions to engage potential clients and secure appointments.
- Utilize your expertise in B2B sales and lead generation to identify, pursue, and secure sales appointments for our clients within the Life Science industry (all sectors).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Advise our clients with respect to value proposition, ideal customer profile and market segmentation during onboarding prior to launching sales campaigns.
- Generate high-quality leads using various channels, including email marketing, social media, and networking.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, with a keen focus on email writing, to drive revenue and achieve sales targets.
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in B2B business development/sales and/or as a Consultant within the Life Science industry.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and remotely.
- Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and persuasive content.
- Preferred competency using sales engagement tools (e.g. Apollo.io).
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences, is preferred.
- MUST HAVE expertise in email copywriting, B2B sales, and appointment setting. Familiarity with setting up email sequences and personalized email content (no mass emailing).
- Strong track record of achieving B2B sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- MUST HAVE experience in the B2B sector serving biopharma companies (CRO/CDMOs, SaaS, Technology services, Pharmacovigilance, Medical Affairs, etc.)
Location and Compensation:
Only candidates willing to sign a contract agreement will be considered for this position. This position is remote-only, and candidates located in the US or Europe are encouraged to apply. Compensation will be based on your experience and qualifications, including a variable salary and high percentage contingency payments based on sales performance, or a combination of both.
