Procurement Manager Jobs

*This is a remote position. Must reside in Eastern Standard Time zone.

The Procurement Manager will have advanced knowledge and aptitude of purchasing and project management. Strong understanding of company standards, budgeting, sourcing, purchasing, and implementation of procurement initiatives are necessary to be effective in this role. Establishing partnerships with stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, designers and logistics teams will be critical to achieving operational success.

• Realize year-over-year cost reduction initiatives by establishing strategic partnerships with suppliers.
• Manage capital procurement process from RFP through implementation.
• Perform all other duties as requested.
• Provide monthly/quarterly/annual budget and production reports, to be shared with executive leadership on a consistent basis.
• Lead highly visible projects which require project oversight, budget management, and consistent and ongoing collaboration with Advisory Board.
• Determine scope of work including cost analysis, issue RFP's and RFQ's, choose and contract national and regionally based suppliers.
• Lead vendor negotiations for new products and services, as well as renegotiation of existing contracts.
• Manage deployment and support transition of new products, services, and/or systems.
• Using DSSI, create and implement measurement systems that indicate the performance level of the sourcing strategy and supplier effectiveness.
• In partnership with Executive leaders and the Advisory Board, plan and develop operational budget and demonstrate an understanding of the company’s financial objectives for each.
