Responsibilities/Duties Include
1. Responsible for prospecting and selling clinical research software licenses and projects to targeted accounts.
2. Engages external and internal stakeholders on a range of SaaS based applications and services.
3. Achieves annual sales plan and sales targets for assigned accounts.
4. Establishes nurtures and grows client relationships at the appropriate levels.
5. Develops account plans and strategies to gain business in assigned accounts in collaboration and partnership with other Taimei team members.
6. Prepares and leads client meetings, including Bid Defense, Governance, and business development meetings.
7. Provides weekly sales activity reports to management.
8. Develops client call cycle to achieve objectives and sales plan; Follows up on leads.
9. Provides general intelligence on key competitors.
10. Sells the business unit’s capabilities and differentiation frameworks.
11. Recognizes and communicates sales opportunities for other business units.
12. Sets and manages customer expectations.
13. Collaborates with companywide resources to achieve superior customer satisfaction.
14. Organizes and hosts client visits.
15. Evaluates quotations for territory and provides inputs to ensure client and company requirements are met.
16. Uses Zoho CRM to manage internal communication and document territory and client information as required for the business unit.
17. Responsible for Opportunity Management and accurate pipeline forecasting.
18. Collaborates effectively with sales executives from other Taimei units to bring potential opportunities to their attention and to identify and win multi-unit projects.
19. Assists in supporting appropriate margins and pricing with Commercial team.
20. Participates in proposal scope development as appropriate.
21. Maintains frequent personal contact with clients.
22. Participates in corporate teams to build relationships with key accounts.
23. Supports an established client base where appropriate.
Education/Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in life science or business field required. Prefer Master’s degree in life sciences, biology, or science-related field with particular focus on biomarkers, anatomic pathology & histology, translational medicine, or companion diagnostics.
2. Advanced industry knowledge
3. Demonstrated client retention skills
4. Ability to manage difficult client and/or financial situations
5. Ability to differentiate Taimei from competitors
6. Strong working relationship with internal Taimei management and site leadership
7. Demonstrated ability to acquire and grow client base
Experience
4-5 years’ sales (or relevant) experience selling services directly to the pharmaceutical and biotech section with direct interaction with mid-level and executive level decision makers.

Remote (Except North Dakota, Ohio, Wyoming and Washington)
