Senior Accountant (100% Paid Benefits/ 2 Days In Office)

Salary: $90K - $105K

We are looking to fill a Senior Accountant position with a high end public relations firm that offers a great work environment and exciting culture. This position will report to the Controller and is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements while maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and all subsidiary ledgers according to GAAP.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in monthly close process, including preparing reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, overhead allocations, etc.
• Consolidate subsidiaries and make elimination entries, as well as inter-company billing and allocations.
• Assist with other assignments and ad hoc projects as needed.
• Prepare audit schedules as needed for external audit, including financial statement and tax audits.
• Review general ledger and financial statements for accuracy
• Perform variance analysis and explain material differences

QUALIFICATIONS:

• CPA is a plus but not required
• Experience with system implementation / conversion a plus (NetSuite)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Ability to work with all levels of an organization
• 3-5 years' experience of full cycle accounting
