REMOTE - 2 days WFH


Midtown location


Media & Entertainment


$90K - $105K


A well-established Media & Entertainment company in midtown is adding to their team! It's a low-turnover environment offering excellent benefits include healthcare, tuition reimbursements and generous PTO. Offering a hybrid role in Midtown!


What will be expected of you as a Senior Accountant?


  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external information requests
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting for senior management
  • Participate in the effective reconciliation and remediation of accounting department issues as they arise
  • Participate in all aspects of the month end close, financial statement preparation and budgeting/forecasting
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, and problem solving skills.
  • 2+ years accounting experience with strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong data analysis skills, advanced use of Excel.
