Recruitment and shortlisting candidates, by supporting with job postings, process of identifying candidates, first round interviews for Leadership etc.

Contracts Review, ensuring templates are accurately customized.

3-5 years' experience of full cycle accounting

Experience with system implementation / conversion a plus (NetSuite)

Review general ledger and financial statements for accuracy

Participate in monthly close process, including preparing reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, overhead allocations, etc.

Consolidate subsidiaries and make elimination entries, as well as inter-company billing and allocations.

Prepare audit schedules as needed for external audit, including financial statement and tax audits.

Salary: $60-$75,000 depending on level of experience from Staff to Sr. Staff etc.

Required Valid Texas Teacher Certificate with Physical Education endorsement or related endorsement or mid-management/principal certification.

Required Master's Degree from accredited university in Physical Education or Sports Management or a directly related field.

Develop systems and processes for eligibility, hiring, student injuries, coaching requirements, and other athletics related issues.

Oversee and direct the management of day-to-day operations in processing requests and transactions, resolving escalated requests.

High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.

8 – 10+ years payroll specific experience and 3+ years’ experience at manager level

Knowledge of accounting or related experience

Manages the payroll budget and maintains necessary controls to ensure compliance with budgeted expenditures.

Manage various payroll vendor relationships and assist with contracts

3 – 5 years experience with SAP (SAP Employee Central Payroll Preferred)

Extensive knowledge of effective principles and practices of management Thorough knowledge of instructional theory and practice, including the assessment of instruction.

Skills in personnel management and strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to function effectively with all levels of management within and across district departments.

Knowledge of board policies and procedures preferred.

Knowledge of school building operations, needs and concerns Awareness of effective supervisory methods, practices, and techniques.

For this role some previous experience would be essential, including:

Experience running payroll for 500+ employees in multi entities U.S. States, locations, and shifts.

Expert knowledge of multi-state payroll, payroll tax rules, and regulations/compliance in the U.S. and California

Expert knowledge of payroll tax laws and complex employee benefit programs impacting payroll

Manage all aspects of daily operations of Payroll department including supervision of staff.

Experience with executive deferred compensation and performance-based compensation arrangements.

Experience with time reporting systems, time tracking labor laws and integration of time systems into core payroll systems

Expert user knowledge of Oracle Cloud Payroll

Expert user knowledge of complex time reporting rules and systems; Kronos preferred.

MECH Health Care Mechanic Certification or have the required experience and knowledge and obtain certification within 30 months of employment.

Intermediate troubleshooting skills and experience.

Mentor and teach other individuals to improve their technical skill and knowledge as well as process and procedural skill and knowledge.

Valid Michigan driver’s license without restriction affecting performance of job responsibilities.

High school or vocational school diploma or GED.

Able to work independently, in support of other technicians, and as a team. Able to prioritize, schedule and effectively conduct work.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

10+ years of payroll experience.

Strong in-house payroll experience. 3000 plus employees with a biweekly payroll

5+ years’ experience in a leadership position overseeing the payroll function with a multi-state employer.

Previous experience with a union employer preferred.

Previous experience with various components of total compensation, including stock transactions, per diems, travel allowances, etc., and their related taxation.
