You will be accountable for sales of ELEM (Electrification E-mobility) Front end Local Sales in Tempe, Arizona, driving sales volumes and margins. As Sales Specialist, you will drive our E-mobility North America sales revenues and margins, with an opportunity to build enduring customer relationships by providing excellent service. ***This is a remote-based position, preferably located in Orange County, CA***

Your responsibilities
- Learn and share knowledge of market trends, competitor actions, customer trends and installed base landscape in support of the Global Sales team in the development of new product and services offerings
- Support RFI (Request for information) and RFP (Request for proposal) requests from new and existing customers, by obtaining information, conducting analysis of requirements, and providing input to response quote tendered
- Initiate and nurture positive partner relationships with prospective clients as a representative of E-mobility
- Provide pre sales support to prospective clients, including presenting sales tender submissions to clients
- Accountable for generating, developing, and securing sales of our E-mobility Product Group Electrical Vehicle Charging Infrastructure and EV (electric vehicle) Chargers to End Users, Contractors, Distributors, Utilities, Network providers, OEM’s (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and Construction and Industry Companies
- Work collaboratively to provide sales support to sales colleagues, product management and marketing teams as required to obtain new business
- Support and help resolve customer and sales process issues, to ensure of positive customer experience
Your background
- Ability to work and excel in a high demand, customer-centric, outcomes based environment required
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
- Bachelor’s Degree required with 2 or more years of direct sales, account management, or technical customer support experience, preferably in an electrical products industry
- Must have a valid driver’s license and passport to be able to travel domestically and internationally, up to 25%, based upon business need
- Must have ability to handle and manage several concurrent customer orders and quotations
- Salary Range 70-90K,plus sales incentive plan
- Experience working with distributors, electrical contractors is preferred; Direct experience in the electric transportation or EV-Charging Technology industry is a significant plus
- Must have ability to drive results through solution-oriented thinking leveraging commercial insights in alignment with client’s needs
- Fluency in English language required, with excellent communication skills; Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese highly desirable
- In lieu of a degree, equivalent direct experience of 4 years or more years working closely with customers, providing customer service support, and responding to a wide variety of customer inquiries, will be considered
- Enthusiastic, team player with strong collaborative and influencing skills; having a strong passion for sustainable technologies in highly preferred
