Job Description
The Role


We are a fast-growing software startup revolutionizing the industry with our innovative products and cutting-edge technology. As we expand our sales team and strive for greater efficiency and productivity, we are seeking a talented Sales Operations Analyst to join us as our first dedicated professional in this role. This is a contract-to-hire position, offering an initial 90-day contract with the potential for a full-time role based on performance and fit.


As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales success by providing critical insights and implementing efficient processes.


Your responsibilities will include:


Forecast Ownership:


  • Own the sales forecasting process, working closely with sales leadership to accurately predict sales performance and trends.
  • Analyze historical data, market trends, and other factors to generate accurate sales forecasts and identify areas for improvement.


Reporting and Dashboards:


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and provide actionable insights for sales and executive leadership.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting and dashboards to provide real-time visibility into key sales metrics and performance indicators.


CRM Data Management and Integration:


  • Collect, organize, and clean data within our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (HubSpot).
  • Troubleshoot any synchronization issues and collaborate with the sales and technology teams to resolve them effectively.
  • Sync and integrate HubSpot with our sales engagement platform to ensure seamless data flow and enable efficient sales processes.


Conversion Metrics Analysis:


  • Identify and analyze conversion metrics across the sales and marketing funnel, providing insights and recommendations to optimize conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to identify areas of improvement and implement data-driven strategies to increase conversion rates.


Lead Flow Management:


  • Streamline lead flow processes, working closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure a consistent and efficient lead management system.
  • Develop and implement lead scoring criteria to prioritize and distribute leads effectively among sales representatives.


Automation Development:


  • Create and develop automations between different programs within our tech stack, such as CRM (HubSpot), sales engagement platforms, and other tools.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency for the sales team.


Qualifications


Must Haves:


  • Familiarity with lead management processes and lead scoring methodologies.
  • Proven experience in sales operations, business analytics, or a related field within the start-up technology/software industry.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and experience with data management and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and automate processes, leveraging technology and tools to streamline workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
  • Experience with CRM and sales engagement platform integration, specifically with syncing HubSpot with sales engagement platforms.


Nice to Haves:


  • Experience in a tech startup
  • Experience in going to conferences, career fairs, and other networking events where social skills are crucial
  • Digital media ad sales experience is a plus
  • Experience with advertising, inventory, or analytics industry is a plus
  • Strong personal network with potential to reach Amazon sellers


Contract Details:


This position offers an initial 90-day contract term, with the potential for a full-time position based on successful performance and alignment with the company's goals and culture.
