About the Position:
The Remote Sales Support Specialist is the first point of contact that many of our clients and prospects have with our company. We’re looking for kind, welcoming individuals to greet the Medicare beneficiaries – many of whom are senior citizens – who call us to learn more about their healthcare coverage options. Using a series of scripted questions, you’ll determine what kind of help each caller needs and direct their calls to the appropriate department, collect information from the caller, and/or take a message so the right person can call them back. In our highly regulated industry with connections to healthcare, Call Center Representatives must be comfortable having all calls recorded and activities on their computers.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a sales position. This role supports our team of hundreds of licensed insurance agents.

- Work hours will be an 8.5 hour shift which can fall anywhere between 8am and 11pm EST Monday - Saturday

Responsibilities of a Remote Sales Support Specialist:
- Set, schedule, and reschedule appointments for insurance agents and customer service agents
- Enter, update, and maintain information in CRM (customer relationship management) system database
- Complete steps to collect information, transfer calls and/or take messages
- Follow scripts to prequalify callers and pass them to a licensed agent
- Answer inbound calls, voicemails, and emails from customers and prospects.
Skill Requirements:
- Demonstrated customer service, professional phone etiquette, and emotional quotient skills
- Proficient computer keyboarding, typing, and navigation
- Comfortable with receiving and applying coaching and feedback
- Strong sales disposition
- Ability to utilize dual computer monitors and navigate multiple programs and window settings
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must pass a criminal background check upon offer of employment
- Willingness to learn and eager to acquire and share new knowledge
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
- Remote agents need to be able to identify technical issues and trouble shoot own IT issues
Physical Requirements:
- Manual dexterity: the ability to lift at least 10 pounds; and the ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Must be able to hear and speak clearly in order to communicate information to clients and staff.
- Must be able to have vision adequate to read documents, a computer screen, registration forms and other clinic documents.
