Job Description
As Sales Manager, U.S, you will help identify and advance new business opportunities for Albumedix's recombinant albumen products and services in line with the annual revenue and strategic goals.


Sartorius has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, self-motivated U.S. based Sales Manager to develop and grow new business for our unique, recombinant albumin-based products and services in alignment with established revenue and strategic goals. You will connect with new and existing customers nationwide. You will strategically manage key accounts and build strong relationships culminating in identification of opportunities to expand sales and accurately forecast.


This is a remote based role where you will be traveling to customers approximately 40-50% of the time.

What You Will Accomplish Together With Us


  • Provide a high level of support to existing clients and a timely response to leads and developing opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with the Sales Director to identify goals and objectives and execute activities autonomously
  • Contribute thoughts and ideas within Sales team meetings, to optimize performance
  • From time-to-time take the lead with ad hoc projects relating to application expertise, collating and presenting to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Qualify inbound opportunities, based upon but not limited to; client’s company, responsibility, technical application, location and timeline
  • Actively manage the sales pipeline by Identifying and qualifying new potential customers, identify and qualify opportunities based upon fit between clients need and our value proposition, facilitate and work within perimeters of clients’ unique buying processes, establish productive relationships and maintain regular contact points to advance opportunities to conclusion and maintain an up-to-date client forecast
  • Collaborate with the global sales team to align on global account strategy, share information and best practices
  • Identify customer’s goals and challenges and match with our solutions
  • Leverage internal stakeholders to support and develop new opportunities
  • Report monthly on progress made, market trends, competitor activities
  • Create and maintain comprehensive records within the Salesforce “Hubble” CRM system, relating to client communications, opportunities, forecasts and proposals


What Will Convince Us


  • Demonstrated experience with effectively presenting technical information to a broad audience in a compelling manner
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40-50% domestic and 3 to 4 international trips annually
  • B.S. in Life Sciences discipline or related field
  • Working knowledge of MS office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • 3+ years’ successful experience working in a B-2-B sales role within the life sciences industry (preferably selling to Pharma / biotech /medical device customers)
  • Experience working with CRM systems
  • Identification with our core values: Sustainability, Openness, Enjoyment
  • 2+ years’ experience of drug development process
  • Proven track record for identifying customer goals/needs and drivers for change, and for facilitating the buying process by delivering positive
  • Valid US Driver’s license is required


Base salary offered for the position is $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 depending on experience. (Higher starting salaries may be available in other locations based on geographic differentials.)
