: We are seeking an experienced Property Management Business Development Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, forging partnerships, and expanding our property management portfolio. The ideal candidate is a dynamic individual with a strong background in sales, business development, and a deep understanding of the property management industry. You will be responsible for all aspects of the consultative sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, follow-up, creating and presenting proposals, and closing the sale. You will leverage PETRA marketing material as well as customize proposals for client-specific strategies. While you will benefit from PETRA marketing and lead generation, you will be held responsible for measured success and will be compensated accordingly with unlimited income potential.
You must have prior success calling on CEOs and Directors in a highly competitive market while overcoming resistance. Experience calling on Directors of CRE is a bonus.
Your days will be spent meeting with and prospecting owners of commercial or multi-family properties, real estate agents, and investors with the goal of helping them understand the power of working with a professional property manager likePETRA.
Responsibilities:
Business Development: Identify and research potential business opportunities in the property management sector. Build a robust pipeline of leads and proactively convert them into new partnerships.
Client Relationship Management: Identify, establish, and nurture strong relationships with property owners, investors, real estate agents, and other industry stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive new business.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth areas. Utilize insights to develop targeted strategies for business expansion.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and execute business development strategies that align with company goals and growth targets.
Proposal Development: Prepare compelling proposals and presentations tailored to potential clients' needs. Clearly communicate the unique value propositions of PETRA and its property management services.
Negotiation and Deal Closure: Lead negotiations, overcome objections, and manage the deal closure process. Ensure terms are mutually beneficial and aligned with company policies.
Networking: Identify potential prospects through social media, news feeds, online research, and local networking relationships.
Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to ensure a smooth transition of new properties into the management portfolio. Provide insights and feedback from the market to enhance service offerings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Proven track record of at least 3 years in business development, sales, or a related role within the property management, real estate, or related industry.
Deep understanding of property management industry trends, dynamics, and best practices.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools.
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
Pay:
This is a 100% commission-based position, with unlimited earning potential. The more you close, the more you earn. For every property management contract executed, you will receive a percentage of the first year’s property management fees as a commission. There is no cap on your potential earnings.
