The Big Picture:
We are seeking a highly motivated, detailed-oriented, customer-service centric retail account manager in the San Francisco Bay Area to join our team at Twrl Milk Tea!This job will be a hybrid of remote work and in-store visiting stores in the San Francisco Bay Area.
This role will report to our CMO and will manage long-term relationships with existing accounts, develop new relationships and assist with merchandising, conduct in-store demos and other events around the Bay Area as needed.
We are looking for someone who has exceptional customer service, works independently and is willing to take on new challenges with a growing company. We are looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to directly manage our retailers and have an impact and influence a growing company’s reception through personal connection and management of our retail accounts.
What You’ll Contribute:
- Collaborate with marketing to develop account-specific campaigns across digital and live platforms
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Conduct store audits including stocking inventory and processing invoices as needed
- Represent Twrl Milk Tea at trade shows and/or other events and develop sales opportunities by building connections with key individuals
- Ensure stores are fully stocked and merchandised properly to ensure high velocity
- Drive velocity by working with the CMO on promotion strategies (including TPR schedule, demos, etc.)
- Set and track forecasts for each account
- Manage and build relationships with existing retailers to drive distribution, shelf placement, merchandising, and pricing objectives
- Coordinate with distributors to manage inventory based on forecasts at key accounts
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 3-4 years CPG wholesale (food and beverage) account management experience
- An ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience while meeting sales goals
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with an understanding of the sales process
- Clean driver’s license and reliable mode of transport
- Self-motivated, with ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- An understanding of retail, distribution, and logistics within the food and beverage industry
- Strong persuasive selling and negotiation skills
- Ability and willingness to travel within the San Francisco Bay Area as needed
- Strong communication and writing skills
