Regional Manager - Us And Canada

Founded in 2009, LIFE is a worldwide membership organisation, non-political and non-religious, for Lebanese professionals in the diaspora, open to professionals in the fields of Consultancy, finance, Law and Technology.

Responsibilities

• Organise events: networking, speakers series, fundraising
• Help collect the annual membership fees, as well as fees charged at various events
• Attend relevant meetings/calls with the executive team
• Prospect and engage new members
• Build relationships with current members to keep a high retention rate of approx. 90%
• Assist executive team in managing 501C3 entity, LIFE Generation USA
• Coordinate with the committee chair of NY and Canada for meetings, attend and take minutes and follow through on action items from the meeting minutes and communicate back to the executive team

Qualifications

• Sensitive and effective interpersonal skills - able to establish and maintain excellent working
• Ability to monitor and maintain goals for own areas
• And change, where everyone lends a hand
• Law, or Tech industries.
• Outgoing person, comfortable in prospection situations and good in pitching
• Solid administrative skills, including minute taking
• Understanding and experience of one of the membership sectors, so far, Finance, Consulting,
• Helpful.
• Understanding of the functioning of membership and volunteer-led organization
• Experience in managing teams, organizing events, and program management would be
• Relationships with members, donors
• BA level or equivalent
• The capacity to operate in a challenging and dynamic environment in constant growth
• Fluent English, working knowledge of Arabic and French is also helpful

Terms of Appointment

This is a key position within the organisation. It will report to the LIFE Managing Director. The post-holder will work very closely with the US and Canada Chairs, LIFE and LIFE Gen MDs, and the members of staff managing membership, events, and fundraising.
