Project Manager Iii Jobs

The Tsui Group is seeking a candidate who is qualified and experienced in educational facility construction projects to serve as a Project Management Division III for a large public facility client within Los Angeles County with the below duties:

• Manage Infrastructure Improvement projects in the Transportation Core Service Area
• Ability to effectively facilitate project team and client meetings
• Ability to develop and control project scope
• Skilled in reviewing and coordinating the preparation of construction documents
• Ability to develop and review project schedules
• Ability to set and manage project expectations
• Ability to effectively negotiate and prepare change orders
• Ability to adapt and respond effectively to project issues and challenges
• Must be knowledgeable in CEQA/NEPA
• Ability to independently manage all aspects of a project
• Work experience in project planning and development
• Ability to effectively monitor and coordinate construction activities with the various project stakeholders
• Ability to develop and maintain project budgets
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 20 years of project management and concurrent field construction experience
• Must be knowledgeable in CEQA/NEPA
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Education background in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Licensed professional or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Design-Bid-Build project delivery
• Deferred Maintenance/Refurbishment projects
• Knowledge of Public Contracting Code and practices
• Experience in Job Order Contracting (JOC) project delivery
