Project Manager Jobs

:The Project Manager is responsible for managing San Pasqual Economic Development Corporation project from start to finish while maintaining strong communication with all involved parties. This position will report to the COO.

Scope of Responsibility:Manage construction and maintenance projects from inception to completion while ensuring strong communication with all involved parties.

• Ensure compliance with construction codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate project updates, status reports, and challenges to stakeholders at all levels.
• Oversee all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery, including construction timelines, resource allocation, budget management, and quality control.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on adaptability and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrate expertise in supply chain management to effectively manage material sourcing, procurement, and logistics for construction and maintenance projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, design, and procurement, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Coordinate and collaborate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
• Implement and monitor project schedules, identifying potential issues and taking proactive measures to mitigate risks and ensure project milestones are met.
• Utilize process improvement techniques to enhance project efficiency and optimize resource utilization.
• Apply quality management principles to maintain high standards of workmanship and deliver projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
• Work independently, demonstrating strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Education, Experience, Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and lead project teams towards successful project delivery is beneficial.
• Experience in a construction and maintenance environment, with an emphasis on safety standards and environmental regulations, is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in process improvement and process control techniques, with a focus on optimizing construction operations, is beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred; a Master's degree is a plus.
• Knowledge of Lean Construction principles and experience implementing lean practices in construction projects is preferred.
• Experience in construction project management, particularly in the field of maintenance and/or renovation projects, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with quality management techniques and their application in construction projects is advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing circumstances, and manage multiple projects concurrently is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices in the construction industry is preferred.
