Job Summary:
As a Program Manager, you will be on the team that manages the requirements gathering, development, implementation, QA, troubleshooting & certification of projects. These projects will encompass, all new and existing integrations, which span from outgoing data, incoming data, real-time transactional data, metrics, ETL processes and miscellaneous APIs to enrich our data sets and facilitate payments. This spans across ERP’s, Payment Providers, Banks & FI’s, Accounts Receivable Partners and Travel Partners.
Essential Functions: Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure internal policies and procedures are followed, especially in regard to customer data
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Create a detailed schedule that identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project including dependencies
- Monitor the progress of the project and adjust as necessary to ensure its successful completion
- Work to solve problems and think outside of the box to find creative solutions to challenges. Keep problems under control and projects on time and on budget.
- Be a liaison between technical and non-technical teams.
- Maintain a transparent line communication between all stakeholders of milestones, work streams and risks to the timeline, so teams and levels are tightly connected and know what’s already happened and what’s happening next. You will be generous with your time and energy, to your customers and your team.
- Create and present executive level documentation for use in program status and communications
- Understand complex technical requirements and translate the customer / business value
- Work with development manager/lead to determine the resources required to complete the project
- Lead complex projects for new customers and work with multiple cross-functional teams, to ensure our customers’ programs are successfully delivered
- Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
- Track work streams and risks to timelines to ensure we meet all deadlines
- Communicate progress updates, issues, risks to business and technology stakeholders
- Exceed our customer's expectations and ensure customer success.
- Define the scope of the project in collaboration with business & technology teams
- Act as primary contact with customers of embedded partners to trouble shoot application process
- Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Able to build strong working relationships across multiple teams
- Highly self-motivated and feels at home working aggressive schedules and managing multiple competing priorities
- Superior written and verbal communication, documentation skills, attention to detail, and strong creative problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of computer science concepts
- Positive attitude, team player, adaptable, resourceful, and self-starter who is able to work independently
- Strong interest in automated payment solutions
- Strong and project management skills
Education and Experience:
Required:
- A minimum of 5 years in customer-facing project delivery/management roles, in Fintech or payments is a plus
- Experience with task and agile management tools such as Jira
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
