Job Description
Job Summary


This role will have responsibility for delivering mid to large scale initiatives in the short-term as well as building out a longer-term roadmap for iHerb's IT department. Additionally, this role will consist of people management, leading a team of TPMs.


Job Expectations


  • Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Asana, Google Workspace, diagramming tools (e.g. LucidChart/LucidSpark).
  • Agile estimating and planning at the team and project, program, and portfolio levels.
  • Define Objectives and Key Results (OKR) across technical projects, programs, and portfolios.
  • Define and implement best practices around quantitative and qualitative reporting such as velocity, status updates, progress/percent complete.
  • Proven success working in a matrix organization with technical and non-technical teams and leadership.
  • Mentoring and coaching of team members internal and external to the TPMO.
  • Proven experience successfully delivering technology projects, programs, and portfolios such as software development, infrastructure/cloud, network and corporate IT in a dynamic environment where priorities constantly change.
  • Develop and evangelize the vision and structure for the Technical Program Management Office (TPMO).
  • Build and lead a team of high-performing team of Technical Program/Project Managers.
  • Define and implement best practices around waterfall and agile methodologies to enable continuous delivery of value.
  • Responsible for quarterly and longer term roadmapping utilizing tools such as Jira Plans (formerly known as Advanced Roadmaps).

  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively and simultaneously in both tactical and strategic modes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities in an ever changing environment.
  • Action and results oriented mentality and ability to problem-solve using creative thinking and innovation.
  • Experience developing and delivering on project milestones with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Passionate self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas.
  • 7+ years of professional Project Management experience in Information Technology.
  • Proven project management skills and driving complex projects to success.
  • Fluent in English, demonstrated strong writing and verbal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously using data to guide decisions.


Experience Requirements


  • Generally requires 4-8 years of experience in project management in a fast-moving environment


Education Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree required.


Preferred Requirements


  • Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing technology concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully influence stakeholders without formal authority, leading cross functional teams across business units.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and persuasion skills.
  • Experience in the eCommerce industry is a plus
  • Proven track record of delivering results in large, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems independently with an extreme attention to detail.


Judgment/Reasoning Ability Able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise and diplomacy. Ability to use judgment and reasoning skills, and determine when to escalate issues, as required, in a timely manner.


Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. The Team Member is frequently required to sit, walk, climb stairs, use hands and fingers, bend, stoop and reach with hands and arms. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the work day. The Team Member may occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 25 pounds. Proper lifting techniques required. The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc. iHerb, LLC is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.

$162,190—$221,169 USD
