Job Title: Policy Product Implementation Operations Specialist

Duties:

• *** Policy Products team engages with both external governments and internal teams to manage effective regulatory implementation. We develop future-proof solutions that can be scaled to governments and partners globally, regardless of the size of geography or the issue they are facing. Our product solutions range from registration systems to tax collection, to Trust & Safety tools, and beyond. The Policy Products team sits within a wider policy development function, drawing on a wide range of tools and expertise to progress *** overall public policy agenda.
• *** public policy and regulatory team exist to further the interests of our community of hosts and guests with politicians, regulators, opinion leaders and others who shape the political and legal context for our business, helping them to understand the significant social and economic contributions of our platform. We engage governments at local, and state levels directly to advocate for fair, progressive home sharing rules.

The Role:

• *** is seeking an operations specialist to spend 12 months improving the product implementation process for Policy Products—products built by *** to align with requirements from state and local short term rental regulations—including creating processes, workflow clarity, templates and collateral to share with government stakeholders. This person will also improve how we triage and support ongoing requests from governments that interact with *** regulatory products.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with employees on the ground to understand and address pain points
• Consolidating and organizing new and existing materials on policy products into one repository
• Developing standardized collateral on *** policy product offerings that can be shared with governments in the process of creating enforcement systems
• Working with cross functional teams to ensure alignment on any process changes
• Developing templated email responses to common government inquiries and the frameworks for how and when to use those responses
• Mapping *** policy product implementation workflows and recommending improvements and clarifications

Skills:

• Experience with Salesforce, Asana and Jira is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize work dealing with multiple stakeholders with competing interests
• Familiarity with digital marketing and comms tools and metrics of importance
• Self-starter and a team player in a cross-functional work environment while producing the highest caliber work product in a timely manner.
• Passion for program operations and building efficient systems
• Commitment to modelling inclusive behaviour
• 5+ years of relevant experience (Program management, software implementation, operations, regulatory compliance, or similar fields)
• Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
