Who You Are


As a Sr. Product Marketing Manager you can tell a story to the market that links values and outcome focused messaging and content to the pains and challenges of key security buyer personas. You will create company messaging, go to market strategy, and content, with the goals of connecting what we do across our portfolio of services and offerings to drive brand awareness and revenue growth. You will be developing and advancing our core company narrative, that is reflected in everything we do including the website, brochures, pitch decks, and prospecting. This individual will also synthesize technical messages for our Zero-Trust Analytics Platform® (ZTAP®), MOBILESOC® app into simple narratives and mid-funnel content that educates and moves a buyer along their journey. Creating and maintaining a competitive intelligence program will be a critical component of the role. You will lead the strategic campaigns to penetrate the market by developing value proposition messaging that resonates and compels prospects, content that educates and inspires, and recommend supporting go to market activity.


Reporting to the Senior Director, Product Marketing, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity (preferably in a start-up enviornment or smaller mid-market fast-paced organization), and have a curious mindset. This role requires an understanding of what best practice positioning and messaging looks like, the ability to ask questions and learn technical concepts quickly and operate with a sense of urgency. You are your happiest when you are working on new complex challenges, continuously learning, taking initiative, and creating high-quality, outcomes focused messaging, content and strategic programs that can directly impact company growth.


What You Will Be Doing?


  • Develop personas-based messaging and content maps; educate and communicate cross-functionally to support demand generation, BDR outreach and thought leadership content development.
  • Create and drive an internal competitive intelligence program including creating sales, battlecards, conversation tools and presentations, competitive displacement programs, training, and enablement content.
  • Lead go-to-market planning efforts, strategy, and execute content and communications and enablement tools for ZTAP and MobileSOC releases.
  • Responsibility for Critical Start company message umbrella story including positioning, messaging and value prop creation, creating and updating solutions and use case content, website copy, marketing collateral, building and communicating messaging and value propositions.
  • Flex as needed to support product launches in other parts of the portfolio.
  • Contribute to and/or develop with Content Marketing videos, webcasts, whitepapers, ebooks and other top of funnel content.
  • Be the expert on your portfolio, demonstrating an ability as a go-to for subject matter expertise for developing content and for presenting in front of audiences.
  • Strategic campaigns program planning, messaging and content development, and cross-functional management of the execution with the marketing teams.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Strong written communication is necessary to develop extremely simple and clear messaging, collateral, tools and content for customers, partners & sales.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Strong organizational skills, ethics and professional business practices.
  • Demonstrated strong ability to project manage multiple initiatives.
  • Founders Mindset: A proactive drive and sense of urgency with a curious mindset and critical thinking. You should always be thinking one step ahead and operate with minimal direction.
  • Openness to feedback and continuous learning and development as a product marketer.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives with the flexibility to change.
  • Basic understanding of enterprise security solutions, managed detection and response, the cybersecurity market or security operations highly valued.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver effective presentations.
  • 5+ years of product marketing experience. You’ll need to have executed product launches and bring best practice product marketing skills to the table.
  • Understanding of channel partner/reseller business model highly valued.

Compensation


The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is [$150,000 - $175,000]. This role is also eligible for performance-based variable compensation.
