Implementation Project Manager (Construction)

Requirements

• Proven experience in external stakeholder engagement and management, including 3rd party funders, contractor groups, utilities, AHJs, and end-customer groups
• Demonstrated success in initiating and managing infrastructure construction projects across all stages of the project life cycle
• Strong alignment with The Mobility House's mission
• Experience with reviewing and analyzing contractor quotes for construction projects: evaluating scope, cost, and completeness
• Previous involvement as a liaison between internal pre-sales, sales engineering, and post-sales implementation teams in infrastructure development or pre-construction roles
• Ability to anticipate and forecast potential challenges and obstacles based on comprehensive project analysis.
• Expertise in conducting pre-sales assessments to ensure construction feasibility and develop well-structured project plans
• Experience ensuring the successful adoption of new concepts, best practices, and technologies by external stakeholders
• Experience using project management tools to create streamlined workflows to manage construction processes and optimize efficiency

Nice to Have:

• Proficiency in working with IT/Network infrastructure and troubleshooting network-related issues
• Basic hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, including wiring, stripping, terminating, and basic mechanical troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Command Line Interface (CLI) and Linux terminal for equipment setup and troubleshooting purposes
• Familiarity with electric vehicle industry, charging infrastructure, or electrification disciplines
• Experience with low voltage electronics and outdoor-rated hardware

Responsibilities:

• Support in hardware-related tasks, including inventory management, set-up, shipping, and deployment of TMH hardware at customer sites
• Identifying and mitigating potential project risks
• Review and evaluate contractor quotes.
• Set and manage customer and partner expectations.
• Provide construction feedback to support sales and implementation efforts and contribute to the vetting and selection process of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) activities
• Recommending optimal equipment and installation locations
• Travel as needed (up to 50%) to conduct customer site walks, participate in and coordinate onsite commissioning activities and testing
• Develop processes to effectively oversee charging infrastructure projects from pre-sales stages through commissioning and operations go-live.

Total compensation: $120,000-180,000 inclusive of base salary and other incentives such as annual bonus. Actual offer will be based on a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, and experience.

This is a hybrid role based in Belmont, CA.
