We’re looking for a VP of Product to join our product team to work on innovative consumption based graph analytics offering in the cloud, and lead on-prem product evolvement. This role is a good fit for a product manager leader who is passionate and hands-on at the same time in working on product areas to provide pay-as-you-go graph analytic products.

TigerGraph is the only performant and scalable distributed graph database in the market- we are the first and only one who conducted a 100T benchmark using LDBC SNB benchmark. Unlike conventional relational databases, TigerGraph engine does not require runtime join. Instead, all joins are determined at schema design time, and materialized during data loading time. Whenever a new join is needed, TigerGraph allows users to change schema and add new edges to amortize the runtime join cost at loading time.

AS A PRODUCT MANAGER LEADER FOR THE ClOUD DATABASE, YOU WILL:

• To achieve this consumption-based cloud offering, you need to collaborate closely with our engine and infrastructure teams to design a comprehensive plan. Once the initial design is ready, you will seek feedback from our customers, iterating as needed, before commencing implementation.
• Define and execute on the product vision for consumption based model, which revolves around storing data in cost-effective object stores while managing compute resources through Kubernetes, treating them as utilities for extracting value
• For the on-prem version, you need to work with customers to guide them through to use the existing released versions. And combine new requirements from different customers and prioritize them for both the cloud and on-prem versions.
• Define and evolve our current cloud product, which follows the "Lift and Shift" approach and involves migrating existing systems to the cloud.
• You will talk to customers and help onboarding new customers and drive their new requirements to our existing cloud offering.
• You will lead a small product management team for daily operation and product roadmap drafting and refinement.
• Be a technical, strong and eloquent advocate for our core foundational graph database in public.

Required Education And Experience

• Computer Science bachelor degree or related major. Equivalent years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
• 5+ years of experience in cloud and database space

Skills & Knowledge

• Good at defining and launching new DBaaS offering with solid well thought business plan
• Excellent organization skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced startup environment
• Have knowledge of K8S
• Good at writing product requirement design documents and articulate it them with engineers
• Outstanding communication and customer relationship skills
• Capable operational driver with core database engineers and QA team
• Have operational knowledge of native cloud object store and integration
• Constant learner

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Redwood City, CA is $240,000 - $270,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. TigerGraph is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
