What are we looking for? We are seeking an Operations Manager, Implementation and Support to join our team. The Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the deployment, support, and fulfillment operations of the company's VR-based software and hardware solution for eye care providers, optometrists, and ophthalmologists.
Radius utilizes cutting-edge virtual reality technology, consisting of a VR headset connected to a tablet running specialized software as an app, designed specifically for the medical field. As an integral part of the team, you will work closely with the sales team as a sales engineer, providing technical expertise and managing the implementation process of the Radius solution. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the fulfillment team that is responsible for assembling system equipment, preparing and shipping orders, and processing returns. You will also play a key role in creating best practices and developing processes / procedures to support the aggressive growth of the business.
The Operations Manager responsibilities Include:
- Implementation and Support Management:
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop implementation plans and timelines, ensuring successful deployment of the Radius solution.
- Monitor implementation progress, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address challenges to drive successful outcomes.
- Oversee the implementation process, including installation, training, and on boarding activities, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers during and after implementation, troubleshooting any issues related to the Radius technology.
- EHR Systems Integration:
- Utilize your experience in working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to guide clinics through the integration process with the Radius solution.
- Collaborate with clinic staff and EHR vendors to ensure smooth interoperability between systems.
- Configure EHR systems to maximize the benefits of the Radius XR solution and optimize clinical workflows.
- Fulfillment and Team Leadership:
- Lead and develop the fulfillment team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
- Oversee inventory management, analyze current processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Manage the fulfillment team responsible for assembling system equipment, preparing and shipping customer orders, and processing returns.
Professional Experience:
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and operational skills, and must show sense of urgency, follow-through, and attention to detail.
Additional requirements include:
- Understanding of VR technology and its implementation in a medical setting is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) Systems
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare with medical devices.
- Setup and implementation of medical devices / systems in the Ophthalmology and Optometry clinics is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in managing implementation and support with hospital systems and clinics.
- 3+ Experience working with clinical staff including doctors, technicians, office managers and technical staff.
