We’re a San Francisco, CA-based company hiring for a ground-floor customer success team member to help us enter the hyper-growth phase. We’re backed by top VCs and angels like Lightbank, TenOneTen Ventures, the inventors of Google AdSense, the founders of Groupon, and Jason Calacanis, and we’re working to revolutionize the future of the nearly 20 trillion-dollar global brick and mortar retail market. About The Role
  • Work with Customer Success leadership to consistently improve onboarding process
  • Supporting customer inquiries within the first 15 days
  • Delivering a second to none onboarding experience to our vendors and retailers post-sale
  • Training customers on best practices to maximize platform impact
  • Configuring platform to customer’s specification
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly onboarding goals
  • Working cross-functionally with product, sales, support, and customer success members to foster a strong sense of community and information sharing
  • Building initial customer profiles to set Customer Success Managers up for success
  • Introducing new customers to SparkPlug and setting them up for success by
  • Setting up initial campaigns to demonstrate platform value
  • Providing critical insights to the product team as a means to improve our developing platform


Requirements


Must Have


  • Tech savvy and proficiency in standard communication, collaboration, and task management tools
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of professional experience in onboarding and implementing SaaS based software
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and equally excellent attention to detail
  • Tenacity and the willingness to pursue hard goals despite obstacles
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of sales strategy, relationship building, and pipeline processes
  • Flexibility and creativity to circumvent obstacles as they emerge
Nice to Have


  • Experience working in early stage, high growth company environments
  • Experience using the Hubspot Sales and / or Marketing suites
  • Experience supporting software implementation into retail or restaurant customer bases
  • Experience working as a frontline employee in retail, restaurant, or service industry roles
