Position: Procurement Assistant

Location: Washington D.C

Compensation: 18-20/hr with Health, Vision, and Dental

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Asset Management Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in managing IT assets and possess knowledge of asset tracking, deployment, license management, and disposal.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, store, distribute, ship, inventory, and account for all accountable and capitalized OIT hardware and software assets
• Develop and implement asset management policies and procedures
• Work with vendors to ensure that assets are delivered on time and in compliance with contractual obligations
• Maintain accurate records of all assets, including inventory levels and asset utilization
• Manage and maintain the accuracy of assets on a day-to-day basis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that assets are properly tracked and maintained
• Monitor and analyze asset performance to ensure compliance with established guidelines and procedures

Qualifications:

• Experience with asset management software is a plus
• At least 2 years of experience in managing IT assets
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of asset tracking, deployment, license management, and disposal
• Familiarity with IT hardware and software components, including accessories and peripherals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
