Director Of Project Procurement

SUMMARY

The Director of Project Procurement is responsible for establishing systems and processes to support driving the purchase process for capital equipment general condition items and rental equipment, from RFP to purchase order/contract execution. This includes identifying vendors, maintaining a database of vendors, managing pre‐qualification, and monitoring vendor performance. Responsible for overall coordination, development, and management of vendor strategy. This position is remote and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Pacific or Mountain time. This position is expected to travel up to 20%.

Role & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support change order process for subcontractors and other related contract management processes;
• Services, capital equipment, and other items as needed;
• Support Project Management Team as needed with contract information and input to resolve vendor disputes and/or issues, such as under‐performance or scope gaps;
• Identify, qualify & onboard new vendors;
• Manage vendor onboarding processes (including NDA and pre‐qualification);
• Track and analyze market data and provide updates to leadership teams;
• Manage vendor performance evaluation process and develop improvement processes based on lessons learned;
• Manage the RFP process
• Manage relationships with key vendors in support of the Company's overall strategic goals
• Lead commercial negotiations for Master Services Agreements, Rental Agreements, project-specific agreements, etc. with support from internal stakeholders for key vendors in accordance with company policies and guidelines;

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in conducting subcontractor/supplier reviews and evaluations, and maintaining good business relationships;
• Preference for experience in solar and/or renewable energy with projects of at least 50MW in size;
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Contract Management and/or Procurement;
• Experience in contract management; contract negotiations and risk management;
• Experience in capital equipment purchasing;
• Bachelor's Degree required;

Compensation

• Salary Range: $170,000 - $210,000 per year. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
