About The Procurement Manager Role

The purpose of this hands-on role is to take commercial advantage of global spend, whilst providing an expert management and advisory service to Babylon’s stakeholders and its clients.

What You’ll Work On

• Contract Management and management of renewals
• Maintain compliance on all procurement related processes and audits
• Running all sourcing events in partnership with the business
• Contribution to the wider Babylon Procurement team strategic projects
• Stakeholder mapping
• Delivering maximum benefit from supplier negotiations
• Delivery of savings against revenue targets
• Benchmarking and market understanding
• Due Diligence on M & A activities
• Understand spend profile, pareto analysis etc
• Serve as a trust partners to the business providing all procurement management best practices during RFP/RFI and other strategic sourcing channels and throughout supplier life cycle
• Global procurement strategy formulation, presentation and alignment with both the global procurement team and internal stakeholders
• Supplier Relationship and performance Management
• Develop sub-category sourcing plans and milestones

What We’re Looking For

• Serve as a strong partner to collaborate with other key stakeholders/partners such as legal, technology, privacy, business, etc.
• Must be customer centric to ensure procurement function is meeting business needs
• Successfully delivering results in a Procurement, fast moving business environment
• Stakeholder management
• Business environments broadly matching or complementary to Babylon, experience in Healthcare is desired.
• CIPS Level 5 or above equivalent certification is desirable
• Indirect category experience
• Detailed orientation
• Strong consulting mindset and skill to provide coaching and strategic sourcing guidance to all stakeholders

Salary Range Disclosure (US ONLY)

At Babylon the US base salary range for this full- time position is $80,000 to $100,000. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all locations in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, included job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition, the person hired in this role will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package such as Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, FSA/HSA, Life Insurance and a Flexible PTO plan.
