We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchasing/Procurement Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success.

Position Overview:
The Purchasing/Procurement Manager will play a critical role in our organization's supply chain management. This position is responsible for overseeing and optimizing our procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the availability of quality materials and goods at competitive prices. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in procurement, strong negotiation skills, and a strategic mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's objectives, cost reduction targets, and quality standards.
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards are met.
- Cost Management: Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier contracts to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
- Inventory Control: Implement effective inventory management practices to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and reduce obsolescence.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that purchased goods and materials meet established quality standards.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in procurement processes.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track procurement performance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Ability to lead and develop a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 10 years of experience in dealing with suppliers from one among these categories of industry: Apparel and Fashion, Electronics and Appliance, Grocery and Food, Furniture and Home Furnishings, Automotive, Pharmacies and Health, FMCG, Luxury, Art and Craft, Real Estate .
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
