Senior Director Of Procurement - Seafood

We are actively recruiting a Senior Director of Procurement to be located in the Continental United States.

Summary:

The Senior Director of Procurement for Seafood will actively lead the Fish & category.

Develop gourmets through leadership roles in sourcing, purchasing and category functions

management. You plan, develop, implement, and Oversee division-wide portfolio and continuous improvement efforts. Profitably grow the frozen seafood category.

Frozen Seafood Ensure cross-departmental cooperation in all departments. Influence stakeholders. To achieve company and category goals.

Responsibilities

• Work with category SVPs to establish goals and initiatives aimed at generating profits.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to create training materials, POS materials, and POS.
• Could you identify additional opportunities in the frozen seafood portfolio?
• Seafood sellers seek creative new opportunities and revenue streams for the frozen foods and seafood category.
• Inventory levels, product losses and cost-saving opportunities.
• A department with optimal purchasing power and cost calculations.
• Promote and develop strong supplier relationships and integrate programs across suppliers.
• Perform category inventory optimization by balancing customer service levels.
• Promotion of private brand portfolio and development of new products in the refrigeration field seafood category.
• Procurement team, purchasing team, category management team and key members of the Fish and Seafood industry
• Inspire and create a positive environment for those who work around you.
• Product promotions, new product launches, go-to-market strategies, and social media.
• Category growth.
• We are working to achieve high category penetration in all Fortune distribution centres.
• Work with sales and marketing to develop a promotional calendar to promote this category Growth by Channel/Region.
• Strategic management of procurement and development of new suppliers and products;
• Parameters for the entire organization and individual fulfilment centres.
• Develop, measure and rationalize category portfolios within functions.

Requirements

• Technical: High proficiency in using a personal computer and Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerBI dashboards, excel, etc., in supporting aggregation and analysis efforts
• Education: Bachelor's degree, degree in Culinary Arts, or equivalent experience
• Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong focus
• Experience: 10+ years of relevant food industry and management experience
