We are looking for rockstar lifecycle and product marketers to lead the go-to-market strategy, messaging development, and growth strategy for a new, high priority initiative. This is a high visibility, high growth opportunity to shape the assisted tax market for both the consumer and the tax professional in an innovative way. This team gives you a chance to perform in a start-up environment with the support and backing of Intuit.


The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking, self-starter who has experience translating customer insights into strong marketing plans, with design thinking and lean testing expertise. This position will have broad visibility across two Intuit business units as it collaborates with key partners and senior leadership. An accountable self-starter, head for driving customer and data insights, a born collaborator, and a drive to increase customer satisfaction and revenue growth are all key.


We are hiring for 3 Senior - Principal level Marketing Manager positions: (select 1 of 3)


  • (Segment) Go-to-market channel strategy and execution for the consumer/taxpayer segment (acquisition and retention)
  • (Segment) Go-to-market channel strategy and execution for the partner/tax pro segment (acquisition, local presence, and retention)
  • (Product marketing) messaging and product positioning for both consumer and partner segments, growth and biz strategies,


What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of business experience leading marketing strategy development and cross-functional execution
  • A clear track record of taking ownership for leveraging data & analytics for insights, partnering cross-functionally and externally, and driving strong growth through successful marketing strategies and execution.
  • Track record of being a multiplier and talent steward, building and contributing to highly performing teams
  • Experience using deep customer insight and data to inform segmentation, targeting and positioning, and translating strategy into roadmaps and actionable, cross-functional go-to-market plans
  • We have three roles that we can hire from Senior to Principal level**
  • Ability to identify big insights by synthesizing inputs from multiple data sources to unlock growth opportunities and developing the business cases and activation plans to support
  • Strong influencing and communications skills across all levels up to executive
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree. MBA preferred.


How You Will Lead


Segment/Channel Marketing Roles


  • Develops and implements effective messaging and manages the creative process, including tough agency issues
  • Partners with brand, CRM and ad teams to define integrated offline and online communication strategies
  • Develops and manages the budgets for their area
  • Leads marketing teams in applying multi-channel strategies across the portfolio
  • Owns the 1-year plan, forecast, business outcomes, and end-to-end experience for the Full Tilt offering. Has a big influence and contribution on the 3-year plan
  • Plays leadership role in integrating digital marketing strategies with those from other channels, product teams and partners to deliver awesome customer experiences


Product Marketing Role


  • Owns of message hierarchy, RTBs, proof points, claims, PR narratives driven though customer-backed research
  • Creates and update product playbook on an annual basis, updating as needed
  • Contributes to long-term product marketing strategies
  • Drives product market messaging through to execution across product channels as well as hand-off key messaging and assets to GTM marketing partners in order for them to execute across channels
  • Translates customer/marketplace needs into critical few strategic product and marketing priorities in partnership with the product team
  • Partners with Product to nail first time use within product for both trial, product experience and potentially the web as a purchase channel as well
  • Plays a leadership role in defining organization’s offering strategy and business model (short and long term)
  • Develops high-level, thematic story that will help us win in acquisition; then handing the story over to GTM marketing partners
  • Engages with PM to understand and influence product roadmaps, leveraging customer and data insights
  • Crafts the messaging and positioning for the product on a regular basis (updating as the product changes), honing in on the single minded value proposition for both the consumer and the partner


All roles


  • Manages relationships with a variety of stakeholders, from upper management to technical teams to other marketing partners
  • Leads by example in expressing a distinct point of view through an active marketing community presence internally and externally
  • Leads complex analytical projects for organization to unlock growth opportunities
