About The Role

In the role of Marketing Operations Manager - QC, you will report to the Senior Director, Marketing Operations. The intersection of media and technology is our sweet spot, and we are fortunate to be headquartered at the epicenter of the creative economy - Los Angeles (Culver City). This office houses many of our corporate functions and cross-functional teams tasked with creating exceptional experiences for our passionate communities.

About You

• Understand marketing content pipelines both in static design and video post production
• Have in-depth knowledge of QC processes, tools, and workflows
• Understand how to effectively train an international, decentralized team in best practices for QC
• Have 1-3 years leading teams in corporate environments
• Understand how to write formal documentation and training materials
• Take a genuine interest in helping others
• Understanding of marketing post-production and localization for both on-platform and out-of-home
• Have experience with the film and the entertainment industry - anime knowledge or fandom is a bonus!
• Understand how to create, define, interpret, and present departmental metrics
• Have 8+ years of experience in a QC environment
• Fluent in industry terminology and understand marketing concepts and brand management
• Understand audio and video codecs and static design specs
• Understand how to create and interpret QC reports

Pluses

• Experience using cloud-based QC platforms
• Speak more than one language natively
• Experience managing linguistic QC operators
• Experience onboarding users to new technologies

Marketing Operations is dedicated to scaling up Crunchyroll’s domestic and international marketing presence, elevating the creative processes of the marketing teams, and being of service to the broader company to provide support and solutions to anyone in need. We are a horizontal support structure, servicing multiple verticals across the company. We embody the collaborative spirit of Crunchyroll and partner with all of our internal and external teams. The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, employer matched retirement savings, time-off programs, and progressive health benefits and perks.
