People Operations Generalist Jobs

We’re looking for a proactive and dynamic People Operations Generalist to join our People team. In this role, you will manage our onboarding experience, oversee our NYC operations and play a critical and impactful role on the People team. This role will be highly visible across the organization and a great opportunity to learn the ins and outs of People Ops and HR!

In This Role, You Will

• Support our payroll and off-cycle payment processes
• Support a variety of other people team projects and processes including but not limited to: off-boarding, benefits administration, company retreat coordination, immigration management & IT security compliance
• Partner with our Manager, Employee Experience to support any culture initiatives and events to strengthen Bubble’s culture and celebrate our employees
• Manage our NYC office operations, owning tasks such as snack/supply ordering, vendor management, in-office events, lunch program management & answering office-related questions
• Oversee our onboarding experience for new hires - administer background checks, schedule new hire orientation sessions and complete other associated coordination and administrative tasks
• Be a first point of contact for general employee questions on topics such as employment verification, benefits, perks, etc
• Oversee day-to day people operations processes, documentation & systems including managing employee data changes & maintaining employee files with the highest degree of sensitivity and confidentiality

About You

• Is passionate about employee experience and culture building
• Is positive, empathetic and a strong relationship builder
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a role that required strong organizational skills and detail orientation
• Is proactive and enjoys finding and solving problems
• Has experience with Google Workspace, Slack & Macs
• Can wear many hats at once and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Previous People/HR experience is a plus, but not required. We’ll teach you!!
• Thrives in fast-paced work environments
• Handles confidential information with discretion

This is an in-office role based in New York City that will allow for flexibility to work from home 1 day per week.

We offer competitive compensation aligned to tier one markets, such as New York City, San Francisco, and Seattle. Our estimated salary for this role at Bubble ranges from $75,000 to $88,000. Actual pay is determined by multiple factors such as skills, qualifications, experience and market demand.
