We are seeking a Payroll & HRIS Technology Manager to join our team. The resource we are seeking will manage the payroll client relationships, serve as an escalation for the payroll team and provide payroll consulting services to businesses of all sizes.
OperationsInc offers a full range of payroll services including but not limited to Federal and State Tax Registrations, Multi-Jurisdictional Payrolls, Payroll Administration, Payroll Implementations, Payroll Vendor Transitions, Tax Amendments, Tax Compliance, Technology Integration, Time and Attendance Implementations and Management, W-2 Reconciliations, and Workflow and Process Design.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review, respond and resolve client issues related to billing, budget, work product, timeline, and other inquiries. Provide exceptional customer service to deliver a dynamic client experience.
- Research and respond to tax notices.
- Conduct internal client quality checks reviewing OI support and identifying areas of concern and improvement.
- On-board new clients.
- Assist in implementations of new products for clients.
- Review and audit tax returns and W-2’s.
- Create custom reports as needed for clients.
- Assist in managing payroll support team, leading, and directing various projects and HR functions.
- Keep team updated on new tax laws.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience in a client relations or account management function.
- Excellent communication and Excel skills.
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a payroll function.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing people.
- Experience handling a payroll for over 500+ employees.
- Attention to detail, demonstrated ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects / payrolls at once, comfort with numbers, problem solving ability and the ability to operate in a highly confidential setting.
- Experience with ADP / Workforce Now.
- Implementation and project management experience.
- Experience with multi-state payrolls and companies in the Financial Services industries a plus
SALARY:
- Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including skills and experience.
- Base salary $43-$53 an hour.
