Impact you will make
The Manager, HRIS is responsible for understanding and translating FinThrive’s business and functional requirements into clearly defined HR technology solutions that will support the growth and development of the organization. This firsthand contributor will partner with HR, Finance and Technical Services leaders to define and implement the HR technology roadmap, optimize system effectiveness, and drive operational efficiency. The role reports to the Senior Director, HR
Operations. The Manager, HRIS possesses effective communication skills and can think strategically and execute tactically to help transform our colleague experience and ensure compliance, security, and reporting accuracy. This individual should have demonstrated technical skills and a strong record of delivering on HR transformation goals, including but not limited to the implementation of Ceridian Dayforce.
What you will do
- Drive the optimization of Ceridian Dayforce for design, configuration, and day to day processes while ensuring adherence to operational best practices and the enhancement of the colleague experience.
- Build strong relationships with and partner closely with HR leadership and key internal stakeholders to ensure fulfillment of strategic initiatives, translating business requirements into technical requirements, and the resolution of complex issues.
- Create and maintain a HRIS governance framework, setting policies and practices that support compliance, data integrity, security role configurations, security groups, and quality and efficiency metrics.
- Document HRIS procedures and processes, including user guides, system workflows and application documentation.
- Manage and mentor a HRIS Analyst, providing development opportunities and career growth.
- Oversee and manage the implementation, development, and maintenance of all aspects of the Ceridian Dayforce HCM system, serving as the product owner and technical SME.
- Develop, implement, and support metrics, analytics, and dashboard tools.
What you will bring
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to combine attention to detail with a big picture perspective
- 3 years of prior experience in a HRIS manager role leading a team
- 5 years of firsthand experience with Ceridian Dayforce, encompassing configuration of core HCM applications, implementation, and technical requirements
- 5 years of direct experience working with HCM systems in multi-state organizations, leveraging reporting tools and analytics
- Ability to be hands-on and nimble to flex between strategic and tactical activities
- Experience in leading HRIS transformation and integration projects
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with formulas and vlookups
